is a Roman historian and multidisciplinary artist based in Boston and Chicago. Lakshmi received her PhD in Classics from the University of Chicago in 2016 and is currently College Fellow of Ancient History in the Department of the Classics at Harvard University. As of July, she will be Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Columbia University.
